• Bathrooms: History-turned-chic – decked out in traditional wood panelling with under floor heating, a hot powerful shower and a relaxing bath.
• For relaxation: Snuggle up by the fire in the grand dining hall, or kick back in the formal drawing room overlooking the walled garden.
• For recreation: If you must keep up with the pace of modern life there is a large TV and broadband terminals. Otherwise, enjoy the peace and quiet and take a stroll in the gardens.

All ingredients are locally sourced where possible, including free-range eggs (from hens roaming the gardens), butter, bacon, sausages, and lambs kidneys from local farms. Evening meals are available by prior arrangement (from £25 per head) – served in your intimate suite or in the grand dining hall. Menus include local fish, homemade soups, game from the local market and free-range chicken or duck. Dinner is accompanied by a range of fine wine from the family wine business. Packed lunches are also available.
